Job Title: Special Educator / Special Education Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive learning environment, use individualized instructional strategies, and collaborate closely with parents and school teams to ensure each student’s holistic development.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. in Special Education or
• Diploma in Special Education (RCI Approved)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with children with special needs
• Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify students with learning, behavioral, and developmental challenges
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Use specialized instructional methods, tools, and aids suited to each child’s needs
• Provide one-on-one and group interventions for academic, behavioral, and life skills development
• Collaborate with class teachers, counselors, and parents to support inclusion in mainstream classrooms
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and documentation as required
• Conduct awareness sessions for teachers and parents on learning support strategies
• Create a safe, empathetic, and supportive classroom environment

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, behavioral disorders, etc.
• Ability to conduct assessments and prepare intervention plans
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Classroom and behavioral management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
