Company Description Nutrimind is a mental health support and therapy service platform based in Tripunithura, Kochi. We provide comprehensive services, including Behavioral Assessment, Speech Therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorder Screening, ADHD Screening, and Occupational Therapy. Our focus extends to School Readiness Programs, Learning Disability Tests, Career Guidance, Psychometric Assessments, and various Counselling services for children, adults, and families. We strive to offer holistic support to better the mental health and well-being of our clients. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Kochi. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, teaching and supporting middle school students, and ensuring effective communication with parents, guardians, and other staff members. The role includes assessing student performance, adapting lesson plans to meet student needs, and collaborating with other educators and therapists to provide comprehensive support to students. Qualifications Experience and skills in teaching and special education Knowledge and ability to work with students with disabilities Experience in teaching middle school students Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Patience, empathy, and adaptability to cater to individual student needs Relevant certifications in Special Education or a related field A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred
