Special Education Teacher

As a Special Educator at DPS Patiala, your primary responsibility will be to work with students, parents, and other teachers to create Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students with learning disabilities. You will be required to understand the needs of these students and prepare a tailored curriculum to support their academic and social skills development. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the progress of the students, communicating with stakeholders regarding their progress, and creating a positive learning environment conducive to their needs. - Collaborate with students, parents, and other teachers to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEP). - Tailor curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with learning disabilities. - Assess students" academic and social skills and track their progress. - Maintain open communication with students, parents, and professionals regarding students" progress. - Foster a positive learning environment that caters to the requirements of students with learning disabilities. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. - State certification or licensure for special education (as applicable). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
