Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Specialist, located in Kolkata. The Special Education Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), conducting assessments, and providing instructional support to children with special needs. The role includes working closely with parents, therapists, and other educators to monitor and report each child's progress. Additionally, the specialist will be expected to provide a conducive learning environment and employ various educational strategies to promote development in children with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education skills
• Experience and proficiency in Communication and Working With Children
• Background in Education, particularly within special education settings
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special needs
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in Special Education or related fields
• Experience in developmental therapeutic settings is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
