South Indian Chef

The South Indian Commis I is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency in a hotel kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, curries, and rice items
• Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
• Prepare mise en place efficiently for service
• Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency as per hotel standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
• Properly store raw materials and cooked food
• Minimize food wastage and follow portion control
• Assist during buffet, à la carte, and banquet services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
