Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Sous Chef located in Chandigarh, India. The Sous Chef will assist in managing the kitchen's daily operations, ensuring quality culinary execution. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, aiding in menu planning, preparing meals, ensuring food hygiene standards, and maintaining inventory. The Sous Chef will also help in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, and collaborate with other departments to provide an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills in meal preparation, menu planning, and food presentation
• Experience in food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management
• Leadership and team management skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• A degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment is a plus
