Sourcing Manager

As a Strategic and results-driven Procurement and Sourcing Specialist with over 10 years of experience in the ready-made garment manufacturing industry, you have a proven track record of optimizing supply chains, developing high-quality trims, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement. Your responsibilities include negotiating competitive contracts and collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising and accounts teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead end-to-end sourcing of trims (pu patches, badges, zippers, etc.) from Indian and Chinese suppliers. - Spearhead development and procurement of trims including labels, tags, price tickets, and buttons. - Liaise with merchandisers to ensure accurate order execution and specifications. - Streamline supplier follow-ups, ensuring 100% on-time delivery adherence. - Negotiate with suppliers for best prices and ensure timely deliveries. - Update vendor database annually. - Introduce new vendors via a structured trial process. - Regularly review sourcing strategies to optimize cost and delivery. - Ensure all invoices have proper Purchase Orders and discourage deliveries without valid Purchase Orders. - Conduct quarterly vendor performance reviews based on timely delivery, quality compliance, responsiveness, and cost adherence. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably in the garment manufacturing industry. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Familiarity with import coordination from India and China. - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
