Sourcing Associate

As a Sourcing Associate at Wells Fargo, your role involves ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to data protection, including customer supervisory information (CSI) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) to protect customer personal information. You will also conduct quality checks on transactional documents and develop strategic sourcing strategies, leading contract negotiations for medium to high-risk products/services. Your responsibilities include: - Being well-versed in contract principles and drafting non-standard contract terms and conditions - Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of contracts such as Master Agreements, Statement of Works, Change Orders, and Amendments - Researching vendor contracts to identify existing relationships, rights, risks, and obligations - Proactively identifying and analyzing cost-saving opportunities - Identifying and escalating risk-related issues, as well as proposing alternative options/solutions - Ensuring compliance with internal policies pertaining to contracts - Ensuring contracts clearly specify the rights and responsibilities of each party to the contract Qualifications required for this role: - 6+ months of sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education Desired qualifications: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent networking and negotiation skills - Ability to structure and communicate decisions to senior management The job posting for this position is open until 5th March 2025, but may close early due to the volume of applicants.
