Take ownership of procurement process and shall be responsible for its implementation, including updating/ amendment, if any. b. Continuous improvement - Build Strategy, develop processes and action plans and oversee implementation c. Compliance to CPP process and Internal control measures d. Training and Skill up-gradation of team e. Margin improvement meet/ exceed target f. Lead the tendering support activities for its group. Shall validate cost of major items and packages and ensure back-to-back agreement g. Lead the Subcontract/ Site services cost validation considered by TM & carry out negotiations along with IM/ PM to arrive at most competitive price. h. Supplier / Contractor relationship management at highest level i. Progress reviews (fortnightly) of procurement activities under different projects j. Lead team in monthly management reviews of various projects k. Meet Sales and Order targets for Digital Energy Business l. Lead negotiations on high value packages during bidding and execution stage m. Sourcing the material as per the project requirements n. Knowledge on GST Taxation, -Imports, High sea sale procedures, SEZ etc o. In-depth knowledge on International Procurement ( Imports ) High Sea Sale ( HSS) transactions Inco Terms , Custom Clearances Inbound & out bound Logistics Virtual Hub Import transactions
Job Related Experience Potential candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement for Integrated Building Management Systems IBMS, Process Automation, or Industrial Automation Preferred background includes candidates from Honeywell, JCI, Siemens, ABB, Rockwell Automation, or other reputed MNCs Must possess excellent vendor management and strong communication skills Accountable for the assigned product portfolio total cost and margin management, cost reduction programs, and risk mitigation for new products Promote a culture of long term savings on procurement costs In depth knowledge of contract preparation and review, invoicing, and negotiation terms Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Outlook and Access Skilled in building and maintaining long term relationships with vendors and suppliers Responsible for approving purchase orders, organizing and confirming delivery, and preparing procurement reports Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple project teams Efficient in organization, multi tasking, and time management to handle various projects simultaneously Expertise in cost avoidance, cost reduction, value engineering, and understanding product Bill of Materials and costing Experience in manufacturing and process improvements to drive cost down and lead time improvements Advanced analytical skills, problem solving, and root cause analysis capabilities
