Role Description

This is an internship role for a Sourcing and Inventory Management Trainee. The trainee will assist with inventory tracking, vendor communication, procurement processes, and overall inventory management. Daily tasks include analyzing inventory levels, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring timely sourcing of goods. This is an on-site role based in Nellore and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to track inventory levels, identify trends, and optimize procurement processes.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for maintaining vendor relationships and internal support.
  • Contract Negotiation: Knowledge or experience in negotiation techniques to facilitate agreements with vendors or suppliers.
  • Procurement and Recruiting: Understanding of procurement processes and ability to assist in recruiting vendors or suppliers.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and MS Excel is an added advantage.
  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field.
