Solutions Analyst

As a Solutions Analyst at Clarivate in India, you will play a crucial role in constructing and executing the vision for Clarivate Content processing systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and improving business processes, understanding client requirements, and specifying and analyzing them in detail to ensure clarity of definition. - Collecting, writing formal specifications, and communicating business requirements between development and clients to design and implement business solutions. - Participating in short-term planning sessions with clients to enhance business processes within assigned client areas. - Using a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs and change management process to shepherd projects from requirements gathering through implementation, client transition, and ongoing systems maintenance. - Providing business process and systems analysis, requirements specifications, and consultation on development and testing management for implementing technology-based editorial business solutions. - Modeling and analyzing client and system processes to identify opportunities for technological improvements, process synergies, and business efficiencies. - Recommending and developing methods, tools, and metrics for client business process and systems operational support. - Offering client systems support to resolve issues and contribute to ongoing systems maintenance and evolution. - Identifying business priorities, advising clients on options, and generating systems documentation for operational support and end-user information. - Ensuring systematic change management and communication of change for projects where initial requirements may evolve during the project lifecycle. - Developing relationships with clients, providing innovative business solutions, and ensuring smooth transitions to new systems and business processes. - Developing a basic awareness and understanding of Clarivate technologies, products, and services and recommending metrics to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a technical business analyst or 5 years of relevant experience. Additionally, experience in process engineering, workflow design, high-level technical design, requirements gathering, specification elaboration, authoring back-end specifications/technical requirements, and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, data mapping, standardization, migration, new product/green-field development projects, AWS, and process automation will be beneficial. About the Team: You will be part of the Clarivate team of Solutions Analysts, consisting of 25 talented Solution Analysts located in India, Spain, UK, and US, reporting to two Solutions Analysis managers aligned with specific business verticals (Sciences & Intellectual Property).
