Solution Factory Manager

Job Description: As the Solutions Factory Manager based in Pune, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing all services at the Solutions Factory, including machined seals manufacturing, spindle refurbishment, bearing customization, and engineering solutions. Your role will involve maintaining relevant data in different systems, analyzing failures, providing Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to customers, and driving solutions as necessary. Additionally, you will engage in interactions and discussions with the front sales team, manage supplier interactions for tooling and component developments, and support the sales team in preparing customer proposals. You will also provide technical support to the purchase team, follow the SKF production system, and ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHAS) requirements. Your responsibilities will include planning and overseeing the effective utilization and allocation of resources, promoting effective teamwork within the organization, and ensuring compliance with SKF systems and legal requirements. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years of experience in spindle services or bearing remanufacturing. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Key interfaces for this position include operation matrices of the solution factory, profitability of SF delivery, new business bookings from new customers, and customer ratings based on Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) - both objective and subjective. The ideal candidate will possess domain knowledge of spindles, business acumen, financial knowledge, market and customer orientation, and strong interpersonal relationship skills.
