Solution Architect – Reinsurance (Full Stack + AWS) Freelancer

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to design and build Applications in the reinsurance domain. The ideal candidate should be strong in AWS cloud architecture, full stack development experience(frontend + backend), and able to balance architecture and coding.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end solutions for reinsurance workflows.

Hand on development using React.js/Angular (frontend) and Node.js/Java/Python (backend).

Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudFormation/Terraform).

Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical designs.

Ensure best practices in scalability, security, and compliance.

Required Skills

10+ years in IT with 3–5 years in architecture roles.

Strong expertise in AWS (certification a plus).

Hands-on full stack coding:

Frontend: React.js / Angular

Backend: Node.js, Java, or Python

Databases: SQL (MySQL/Postgres) + NoSQL (DynamoDB/MongoDB)

Experience with AWS Lambda

Exposure to reinsurance/insurance systems (treaty, facultative, claims, policy) preferred.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of AI/ML on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock).

• Experience in regulated domains (finance, insurance, healthcare).
