Solution Architect

Role Overview: You will be joining Colruyt Group as an Enterprise Application Architect, playing a crucial role in the digital transformation journey of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to design complex mission critical applications and elaborate solution architectures. As a key member of the architecture team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful realization of Colruyt Group's strategic plan through IT technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Designing complex mission critical applications and elaborating solution architectures. - Proposing feasible IT solutions aligned with strategic objectives and IT reference architecture. - Communicating architecture to business stakeholders, project managers, and software engineers. - Ensuring approval of application architecture by the Technology Review Board. - Collaborating with Program/Project Managers to provide estimations, identify dependencies, and create implementable work packages. - Conducting architecture impact analysis, technology assessments, and proposing solutions for quality deliverables. - Defining, implementing, and safeguarding application architecture blueprint. - Advising business stakeholders on making the right technology choices. - Developing secured applications and packaged solutions on cloud platforms. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12 years of experience in the IT industry with at least 3 years in Enterprise Application Architecture. - Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and IT roadmaps governance. - Experience in assessing architectural choices and proposing fit-for-purpose solutions. - Excellent analytical, conceptual, and out-of-the-box thinking skills. - Proficiency in architecting secured solutions and managing vulnerabilities such as OAuth, ISAM, and Open ID. - Strategic mindset, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to balance long-term and short-term implications of architectural decisions. - Experience in architecting J2EE applications is advantageous. - Certification or experience in TOGAF or any relevant architecture methodology is a plus. - Knowledge of ArchiMate, Mega, and cloud technologies is advantageous. - Experience working with European organizations, especially in the retail sector, is beneficial. - Willingness to travel onsite to Belgium.
