Location: [Sector 102, Gurgaon] Job Type: Full-time Experience: 1–3 Years Industry: Manufacturing / Fabrication / Engineering Design/ Packaging Salary: Negotiable 🛠️ Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks Designer with a strong background in sheet metal design. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating accurate 3D models, fabrication-ready 2D drawings, and flat patterns for manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with the production, quality, and engineering teams to design and develop components and assemblies used in [products like control panels, enclosures, ducting systems, or other sheet metal-based items]. ✅ Key Responsibilities: Design sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks Sheet Metal module. Create flat patterns, DXFs, and detailed manufacturing drawings. Apply knowledge of bend allowances, K-factor, relief cuts, and tolerances. Work with internal teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards. Modify existing designs and update drawings based on feedback or design changes. Maintain accurate design documentation, BOMs, and part libraries. Support prototyping, testing, and fabrication as needed. 🧠 Requirements: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal design. Proficient in SolidWorks, especially Sheet Metal tools. Good understanding of fabrication processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, punching, etc. ⭐ Preferred Skills: Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) – Sheet Metal. Hands-on experience with stainless steel, aluminium, or CRCA sheet design.
