Job Title: Junior Designer – Mechanical Design & Assembly Quality
Location: Mohali, Punjab
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Fresher–1 year
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

Key Skills Required

• Basic proficiency in SolidWorks
• 2d drawings with Solidworks and Autocad
• Understanding of sheet metal and mechanical components
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes like laser cutting and bending
• Good understanding of mechanical drawing standards

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models as guided by senior designers
• Assist in preparing manufacturing drawings and documentation
• Perform quality inspection of mechanical assembly parts as per checklist
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and fitment of fabricated components
• Support the design team by updating drawings, revising changes, and maintaining design records
• Coordinate with the fabrication/assembly teams for part verification
• Visit sites occasionally for design measurements and final inspection

Ideal Candidate

• Fresher or up to 1 year of experience
• Strong willingness to learn mechanical design and quality inspection
• Good observation skills and attention to detail
• Team-player with good communication skills
• Ready to work in hands-on engineering and workshop environment
