Solid Edge Design Engineer

• Create 3D models, part drawings, and assembly designs using Solid Edge CAD software.
• Develop design concepts and detailed engineering drawings based on customer or internal specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams for design feasibility and accuracy.
• Modify existing designs to improve performance, reduce cost, or meet updated requirements.
• Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and other technical documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for design-related discussions or custom parts.
• Support manufacturing during prototype development, testing, and final production.
• Update and maintain proper version control and drawing revisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical design using Solid Edge.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, machining processes, and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
