Solar Structure Design Engineer

We are seeking a Solar Structure Design Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing structural systems for solar installations, ensuring safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Design & Analysis
• Develop designs for solar mounting structures (rooftop, ground-mounted, carports, and trackers).
• Perform load calculations considering wind, snow, seismic, and other environmental factors.
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and structural simulations.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and international guidelines (IEC, IS, ASCE, etc.).
• Work closely with electrical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate structural designs into overall solar projects.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and installation phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla) and structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro, ANSYS).
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards for structural safety.
