Role & responsibilities

Core responsibilities

Sales and lead generation:
Identify and generate leads for rooftop solar projects through various channels, such as field visits, campaigns, and outreach.
Scheme promotion:
Clearly explain the PM Surya Ghar Yojana to potential customers, including benefits, eligibility, and the subsidy structure.
Sales channel management:
Develop and manage B2C sales channels, including dealers, agents, local partners, and channel partners.
Customer engagement and sales:
Conduct site assessments, provide customized solar solutions, prepare proposals and quotations, and negotiate deals to close sales.
Project management:
Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys and installations, track project progress, and ensure the timely completion of all steps from lead to commissioning.
Documentation and compliance:
Ensure all customer and project documentation is correctly prepared and submitted on the National Portal for Rooftop Solar for subsidy disbursement.
Performance and reporting:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and other KPIs.
Market and policy awareness:
Stay updated on government schemes, policy changes, DISCOM regulations, and new product developments in the solar industry.
