Job Opening: Solar Engineer (Ground Mounted Systems)

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed

  site surveys

  and technical assessments prior to project execution.
• Supervise on-site activities during the

  installation, commissioning, and testing

  phases of ground-mounted solar PV systems.
• Ensure that all project activities align with approved designs, technical specifications, and industry standards.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with

  safety norms and quality control parameters

  throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with internal teams (design, procurement, planning) and external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, clients) for smooth execution.
• Prepare, update, and maintain

  project documentation

  , progress reports, and commissioning records.
• Provide on-site support in resolving technical issues and help optimize performance and output of installed systems.

Required Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of

  solar PV technology

  , particularly ground-mounted systems.
• Practical understanding of

  installation practices, system commissioning

  , and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, and electrical diagrams.
• Strong

  communication and interpersonal skills

  to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
• Good command over

  reporting, documentation, and project tracking tools

• Leadership qualities to

  guide and monitor technical teams

  on-site.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering

  or equivalent degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Additional certifications in

  solar PV systems, project management, or safety

  will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in

  executing ground-mounted solar PV projects

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  site management

  , client coordination, and technical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as required.
• Strong professional ethics and problem-solving abilities.
