Solar Engineer

As a Solar Engineer based in Jaipur, you will be responsible for handling the engineering aspects of solar PV projects from start to finish. Your duties will include conducting site assessments, designing solar PV systems, preparing technical documentation, providing project execution support, troubleshooting existing installations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and effectively communicating with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments for various types of solar projects. - Analyze site conditions, shadow patterns, solar irradiance data, and structural viability for installations. - Design grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems using industry-standard software. - Select appropriate PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and other components. - Prepare detailed engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials. - Develop technical proposals, tender documents, and project reports. - Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning phases. - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in existing solar installations. - Stay updated with solar technology trends and regulatory changes. - Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field. - Experience: 3-5 years in solar engineering with grid-tied and/or off-grid projects. - Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of solar PV components, design software, and standards. - Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous in design and documentation. - Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in English and Hindi. - Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite. - Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites in Rajasthan.
