Job Summary:

Solar and Wind Energy Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed site assessments and analyze meteorological and solar irradiance data to evaluate project feasibility.
• Design and optimize solar PV and wind energy systems, including component selection and layout.
• Design of renewable energy plant from the sugar factory waste etc.
• Develop energy yield assessments and system performance models using industry-standard tools.
• Supervise system installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and financial analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in securing environmental permits and managing grid interconnection processes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and environmental teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Studying and proposing suitable techno commercial models to the end users.
• Remain current with industry advancements, renewable energy policies, and applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in

  Electrical Engineering/ Electronic/Mechanical Engineering

  , or a related field (Masters degree is an asset).
• Minimum

  3 years of experience

  in solar and/or wind energy engineering; experience with both is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in tools such as

  AutoCAD, WindPRO

  , and

  GIS software

  ; familiarity with civil modeling tools is a plus.
• Solid understanding of

  electrical systems

  ,

  power electronics

  , and

  grid integration principles

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  civil requirements

  for renewable installations (e.g., foundations, mounting systems, access roads).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Coordination with the local/District level MSEDCL authorities concern ULBs for completing required formalities of MSEDCL.
