Job Description

QA / Software Tester

Responsibilities:

Design and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories.
Identify, document, and track bugs & defects clearly.
Assist in creating automated test scripts under guidance to reduce manual effort.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
Conduct basic usability and performance testing as instructed.
Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
Learn and adhere to QA best practices, documentation, and processes.
Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes.

Requirements:

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of software testing principles, types of testing, and SDLC/STLC.
Familiarity with manual testing on web & mobile applications (Android/iOS).
Exposure to tools like Postman, JIRA, or any bug tracking tool (good to have).
Basic understanding of automation concepts or willingness to learn tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
Completed a software testing or QA certification course (preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and in an agile development environment.
Eagerness to learn and build a career in software testing.
