Software Tester

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our team. You will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards, function as intended, and provide an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
• Develop, document, and execute detailed, comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Perform manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, processes, and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester / QA Engineer.
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestNG, etc.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• API testing experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
