Software tester fresher

Job Summary: A Software Tester (Fresher) is responsible for validating software functionality through structured testing processes. This role involves analyzing requirements, executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring software quality before release. Focused on learning and applying testing methodologies, the tester works closely with developers and QA teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly applications across various platforms and domains. Experience: ● Fresher Qualification: ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Technologies: ● Manual Testing ● Basic Automation Testing (Selenium, JUnit – optional) ● Bug Tracking Tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) Roles & Responsibilities: ● Understand software requirements and specifications to develop test cases. ● Execute test cases (manual and automated) and document results. ● Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools. ● Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes. ● Assist in regression, integration, and system testing. ● Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress. ● Continuously learn and adapt to new testing tools and techniques. ● Ensure the product meets quality standards and customer requirements. Required Skills: ● Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. ● Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC. ● Good written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work independently and within a team. ● Eagerness to learn testing methodologies and tools. ● Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
