As a Software Tester specializing in Career Re-entry, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure that the products delivered are robust, user-friendly, and free of bugs. This opportunity is tailored for individuals with prior testing experience or training who are looking to re-enter the workforce after a break. Key Responsibilities: - Review functional and design specifications to grasp testing requirements - Create, update, and execute test cases/test scripts, both manually and/or through automated means - Conduct various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, and usability testing - Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor defects/issues using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla - Work alongside developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to replicate issues and validate fixes - Validate bug resolutions to ensure no regressions occur - Generate test reports, metrics, and relevant documentation - Contribute towards enhancing the QA process including test planning, test automation, and CI/CD pipeline integrations - Occasionally participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in release deployments Qualifications Required: - 0 to 3 years of experience in software testing, which may include internships, training, or freelancing - Fundamental understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) - Proficiency in manual testing techniques like boundary cases, equivalence partitioning, and negative testing - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-driven, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about continuous learning - Exposure or familiarity with at least one testing tool/framework (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Appium, Cypress) or API testing is a plus - Possession of any testing/QA certification like ISTQB is beneficial Additional Company Details: - Job Types: Full-time, Permanent - Benefits: Work from home - Work Location: Remote As a Software Tester specializing in Career Re-entry, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure that the products delivered are robust, user-friendly, and free of bugs.
