Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with 12 years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, basic automation knowledge, and strong analytical skills to ensure software quality and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Log defects in a bug-tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and work with developers for resolution.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.
• Ensure that delivered software meets defined quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth releases.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Contribute to test documentation (test plan, test summary, release notes).
• (Optional) Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress) is a plus

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12 years of experience in manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, Bugzilla).
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have (Preferred):

• Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Postman for API testing).
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
