Job Description

Job Summary:

Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and execute
test plans, test cases, and test scripts
for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Perform
functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing
.
Identify, log, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
Automate repetitive testing processes using
testing frameworks and tools
(e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of
software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices
.
Hands-on experience with
manual and automated testing tools
such as Selenium, QTP, JIRA, or TestRail.
Proficiency in
SQL
and scripting languages for test automation.
