JOB TITLE: Software Support Senior Specialist
LOCATION: Hyderabad
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically inclined individual to join our Software Support team. This is a mid-level position that would be well-suited to someone with software support experience that is looking to further their career.
As a Software Support Senior Specialist, you will work in a software engineering environment, troubleshooting and resolving software support investigations. Our customer base spans across various countries and cultures, ranging from multi-national financial institutions to local community banks in both mature established and developing markets. While your primary communication will be with internal local technical teams that support our customers, there may be instances when you will need to interact with customers directly.
The successful candidate will receive training, mentorship, and support on NCRs proprietary software products.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Provide software support to NCR s financial Self-Service software products
  • Maintaining ownership of complex software support investigations, debugging to product and component/configuration level, can include recreating in a lab environment when necessary
  • Coordinate communications between all relevant teams as part of that support investigation
  • Understanding and driving customer-focused requirements to provide a satisfactory solution to the reporting technical team
  • Managing multiple support incidents of varying complexity and stages of investigation at any given time with the principle focus of customer satisfaction in mind
  • Create, edit and maintain knowledge articles within NCR s Knowledge Base
  • Help support teammates in their problem investigations and contribute to the success of the team
  • Implement continuous improvement and provide new ideas, processes and sharing of information to assist in the ongoing improvement and efficiency of Software Support
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role the candidate must possess the following level of education and experience -
  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in a relevant software or engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years software related experience (Support/Development)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
  • Experience working within financial Self-Service and/or ATMs
