Job Description

As a Software Quality Engineer at Xerox Holdings Corporation, you will be a Subject Matter Expert for your programs, providing technical guidance to test teams, training, and support teams. Here is a breakdown of your role: **Role Overview:** Xerox has a legacy of innovation in delivering client-centric and digitally-driven technology solutions to meet the needs of today's global workforce. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in comprehending and communicating solution workflows, maintaining a system focus, validating system requirements, providing software support, and coordinating key solution deliverables. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Technical Resource:** - Comprehend solution workflows and interactions with integrated systems - Work closely with architects, development, and business/programs teams - Translate solution goals into system validation requirements - **Validation / QA:** - Develop end-to-end solution workflows test cases - Support Test Lead and Test Teams as SME - Provide final approval and handoff of software and documentation - **Software Support:** - Engage in early customer activities such as demos and validation - Triaging and resolving problems, identifying impact and workarounds - Develop and deliver support team training - **Documentation:** - Design and author customer-facing documentation - Produce professional-service guides - **Project Coordination:** - Provide input to schedules, strategies, and plans for various aspects of projects **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - 5-10 years of software test experience with web-based applications - Experience with a test automation framework - Microsoft Azure experience is a plus - Teamwork and leadership experience - Excellent verbal communication skills - Preferably Agile Software Development Process experience - Software debug and troubleshooting skills - Experience working with Microsoft change tracking tools like DevOps Xerox encourages vaccination for all US-based contracts and candidates. If working at a Xerox site or client site, it is recommended to get vaccinated and receive boosters when eligible. Compliance with vaccination requirements may be necessary for certain Xerox customers, including Federal agencies.,
