Software Quality Assurance Engineer

• About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering bug-free, reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Perform manual and automation testing to identify bugs, errors, and performance issues.

• Report, track, and document software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct regression, performance, and security testing as needed.

• Suggest process improvements and contribute to best practices in QA.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• 2–5 years of experience in QA or software testing.

• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.

• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Git, Bugzilla, etc.).

• Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript) is an advantage.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
