Job Description

Role Overview: The Lifecycle Innovation and Optimization (LIO) team at Cisco is seeking a software quality assurance (QA) engineer to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. As part of the Cisco.com Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in crafting a first-in-class digital experience for customers and partners interacting with the flagship corporate Cisco.com website. Your responsibilities will include creating test plans, executing various tests, documenting defects, and utilizing modern AI concepts/tools to enhance testing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Review requirements, develop test plans & test cases, identify risks, collaborate with developers, and provide feedback on usability and functionality - Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing - Utilize AI and Machine Learning techniques to enhance test automation - Build, maintain, and optimize scalable, reusable test automation frameworks and tools - Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines - Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams for resolution - Create and execute test cases to assess performance, scalability, and stability of the application - Analyze test results, conduct root cause analysis, and report quality metrics - Define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage by collaborating with product managers and engineering teams Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field with 5+ years of QA experience - 3+ years of experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and industry-standard test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright - Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) concepts and proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript - Experience with AI and ML concepts, CI/CD tools, and project tracking tools - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and SDLC in an Agile environment Additional Details of the Company: Cisco is revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
