Software QA Intern

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated QA Manual & Automation Intern who has a basic understanding of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of manual testing, test case writing, bug reporting, and exposure to automation testing using Selenium with Java. You will be working closely with the QA team to ensure software quality and contribute to both manual and automated test activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases and validate product functionality against requirements.
• Write clear, structured, and reusable test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Identify, document, and track bugs/defects using bug tracking tools.
• Assist in creating and maintaining automation test scripts using Selenium (Java).
• Perform regression testing, functional testing, and UI testing.
• Work collaboratively with developers and product teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Continuously learn and upgrade testing knowledge and automation skills.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Knowledge in Manual Testing, test case creation, and defect logging.
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver and Java for automation testing.
• Knowledge of TestNG / JUnit (added advantage).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Knowledge of any test management or bug tracking tools (JIRA) and API testing.
• Understanding of version control tools like Git.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
