We offer free listings for individuals and dealers, used car loans, extended warranty, RC Transfer, and other used car-specific services. We inspect and digitize vehicle inventory at Nxcar premium dealerships and provide comprehensive CarScope so that you can buy a pre-owned vehicle with confidence.

Nxcar is building a next-generation vehicle listing platform with integrated AI models to provide real-time insights and recommendations to customers for each vehicle as they browse.

Role Overview

As a QA Tester Intern at Nxcar, you’ll gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance for both our web and mobile applications, as well as our internal CRM. You’ll execute manual regression test cycles, validate APIs using Postman, and get exposure to automated testing frameworks under the mentorship of our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing:

• Perform regression and exploratory tests across multiple devices (iOS, Android), browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), and platforms (web app, mobile app, CRM).
• Document defects clearly and track them through resolution.

API Testing:

• Validate RESTful APIs using Postman: write test cases, execute requests, and report results.

Automation Learning:

• Shadow senior QA engineers to learn automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Assist in building and maintaining basic automation scripts.

Test Documentation:

• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of test plans, test cases, and checklists.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand feature requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Tier-1 engineering college (e.g., IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for software quality and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic software testing concepts (e.g., regression, smoke, UAT).

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API-testing tools.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to any test-automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write simple queries.
