As a Software Engineering Lead/Software Technical Project Lead at Schaeffler, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical content within the Software Engineering discipline for assigned projects. Your role will involve leading and coordinating software development activities, ensuring project execution meets technical and business objectives, and driving software releases and deliveries. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and oversee technical activities performed by software development teams, including estimation, planning, and task assignment. - Facilitate issue resolution by escalating challenges that cannot be solved within the team. - Approve and validate the technical solution of the software subsystem, ensuring adherence to architectural and design standards. - Drive the software release process and oversee timely and successful deliveries. - Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines to ensure software integration within the broader system framework. **Qualifications:** - Degree in Engineering or masters in electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or an equivalent major. - Strong project management expertise, including stakeholder management, change management, problem resolution, escalation management, review and release processes, and customer relationship management. - Total 10 to 12 years of experience in the automotive industry or a comparable field, with direct customer engagement. - Proven track record of successfully delivering a full project lifecycle from acquisition to production launch as a team member. - In-depth knowledge of software product development processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Functional leadership experience is highly preferred, with the ability to guide and mentor development teams. - Experience working in international teams, demonstrating effective collaboration across diverse environments. - Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders effectively and drive project success.,
