Software Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at our office in Poland, your primary mission is to create a Center of Excellence and foster synergy across engineering, product, and customer support to enhance the experience of both customers and employees. Your responsibilities will include managing the execution of agile practices and processes, guiding the team to accelerate development and optimize output sustainably. You will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring efficient delivery at a high quality. Serving as an escalation point for development teams, you will proactively address challenges and facilitate unblocking where necessary. In a flat organizational structure, you will oversee a large team of developers, focusing on building relationships, coaching, and fostering their growth. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of leading and managing development teams that deliver software products to customers effectively. Experience in managing teams following agile practices, particularly in a business-to-business or web-based product environment, is highly desirable. Your expertise in overseeing delivery cycles, working with agile methodologies in service or SaaS settings, and familiarity with work management tools, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices will be invaluable.
