Software Engineer

As an Assistant Manager - Indirect Tax, your role will involve leading your team along with the Senior Manager, building client relationships, and developing your team. You will also be responsible for engaging in business development activities for the firm. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading your team along with the Senior Manager - Building client relationships and developing your team - Engaging in business development activities for the firm - Demonstrating a willingness to collaborate with other team members of the firm To be eligible for this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant with good working knowledge of Indirect Tax, including FTP, Customs, and GST. You should have 1-2 years of relevant experience and be available immediately. It is essential that you have experience in customs duty and FTP-related compliances and proceedings for large corporates and MNCs in India. Additionally, you should have experience liaising with customs, DGFT, and GST authorities, as well as expertise in undertaking indirect tax research and advisory work. Experience in GST compliances, refunds, and audit proceedings is also required. In terms of qualifications, you must be a CA qualified professional with the specified working knowledge. Previous experience in Big4 firms is not mandatory, but having worked in similar large firms in India would be advantageous. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role, along with effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
