Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a software engineer at ResMed, your primary goal is to design, develop, test, and deliver software that aligns with business and customer needs. Your key responsibilities include designing, testing, and delivering software, ensuring software behavior meets requirements, documenting product design, resolving customer issues, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. You will work within a specialized area of expertise, requiring knowledge of fundamental themes, principles, and concepts. Your responsibilities may also involve routine professional activities, project contribution/management, networking with contacts, leading project teams, and serving as a resource within your area of expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deliver software that aligns with business and customer needs - Ensure software behavior meets requirements - Document product design - Resolve customer issues - Collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Work within a specialized area of expertise - Engage in routine professional activities - Contribute to projects and manage them effectively - Network with contacts - Lead project teams - Serve as a resource within your area of expertise Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - 4+ years of experience with C# (.NET) - 4+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming and application development - 4+ years of experience in Transact SQL, writing Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers on Microsoft SQL Server - Experience in Windows Forms, WPF, MVVM, and WCF Services - Proficiency in design patterns, SOLID principles, multi-threaded application development, TAP, and Thread Synchronization - Experience with RESTful Web Services, Serialization, Entity, MEF & PRISM, Unit Test frameworks, and full product lifecycle development processes - Experience in n-tier architecture, enterprise software development, and strong interpersonal skills Additional Company Details: ResMed has pioneered innovative solutions to enhance people's lives, aiming to impact 250 million lives by 2025.
