Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Pega applications that meet business requirements. This includes creating workflows, user interfaces, and data models using Pega's tools and best practices.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including high-level and low-level design documents, coding standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within Pega applications. This involves debugging, performance tuning, and ensuring the stability and reliability of the applications.

Preferred candidate profile

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

CERTIFICATION(S):

• 2-5 years in Pega Systems (including Pega Constellation)
• Pega CSA/CSSA certified.
• Strong knowledge of OOPs concepts.
• Strong understanding and advocating DevOps culture
• Pega CS framework experience would be good to have.
• Familiarity with Pega Dev Studio and App Studio (preferred).
• Good understanding of Agile (Scrum) project management methodology and Test-Driven Development
• Strong problem-solving skills and should be able to navigate in difficult situation
• Good understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting Pega applications
• Ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases
