Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to work on ProQuest, a leading product in our portfolio. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and driving engineering best practices across the team.

About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Design, or related fields, or 1-2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering techniques and methodologies
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Proficiency with Angular 14+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge and experience in agile software development (e.g. SCRUM)

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java 11 and Angular 14+.

• Lead and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
