Software Engineer - Backend

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Software Engineer with a strong background in Python or Java to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems that power our applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Python or Java.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver features.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in backend development.
• Maintain and improve database architecture (SQL/NoSQL) as required.
• Contribute to documentation and internal technical resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Proficient in Python or Java.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of software development best practices, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
