Software Engineer - Backend

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Java/J2EE Backend Developer with 1-4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Java technologies and have experience in building APIs, integrating with databases, and following best practices in software development.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and maintain backend components using Java/J2EE.

· Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and external systems.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements.

· Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards.

· Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-performing development culture.

· Ensure application security and data protection measures are implemented.

· Maintain and enhance existing systems and support continuous improvement.

· Work with tools like Git, Jenkins, and Maven for CI/CD and version control.

· Required Skills: Strong programming experience in Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot.

· Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.

· Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

· Good knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).

· Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.

· Hands-on with version control systems (Git).

· Basic understanding of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

· Knowledge of API security, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and best practices.

· Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Requirement

· Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

· Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
