This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 4 yearsLocation: HyderabadJobType: full-timeWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SDET with a strong foundation in Python and Pytest to join our engineering team. This role involves designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software through efficient testing strategies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites using Python and Pytest
Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Implement automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend systems
Conduct code reviews and actively contribute to improving test strategies and practices
Perform continuous integration and deployment testing to ensure seamless releases
Troubleshoot and debug test failures, analyze results, and report defects with clarity

Required Skills

Proficiency in Python programming
Hands-on experience with Pytest for automation testing
Strong understanding of automation tools and strategies
Experience with Selenium for UI testing
Familiarity with REST API testing, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Nice to Have

Experience with Docker or cloud-based test environments
Exposure to performance testing or additional test frameworks/tools
