Our team develops and sells Akamai's carrier network security products to fixed and mobile network service providers. We specialize in delivering highly scalable network infrastructure and security products to our customers. We collaborate with product groups, external partners to enable our customers to provide high-quality, secure internet and network access to their end-users.
Shape the future of Web Security
Come play a pivotal role in mitigating some of the most sophisticated security threats on the web. Partnering with development teams, you'll build and maintain critical test frameworks for highly complex security products. Developing test strategies and testing tools. You'll help secure and improve the internet for millions of people globally.As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
- Performing full qualification cycle for software releases which includes gathering specs, developing test plans, running automated/manual tests
- Contributing to test automation framework for both API and UI driven tests
- Designing, developing, and deploying automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios
- Reviewing and regularly improving test coverage
- Performing for performance, scalability and reliability of security features on Akamai Edge.
Do What You Love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Be in software testing
- Be knowledgeable in scripting and automation
- Have experience developing automated UI test cases in Selenium or Protractor
- Be passionate about working in a collaborative environment to solve complex problems
