What You’ll Achieve:

As a Software Developer, you’ll work on PHP frameworks (CakePHP/Laravel/Yii/Phalcon) with a leading retail software company.

You will:

• Collaborate with the product team on technical requirements.
• Design and implement scalable backend modules and frontend components.
• Own small to mid-sized modules/features from design to delivery.
• Write high-performance, maintainable code (~5 million API jobs/day).
• Review peer code for quality and consistency.
• Plan and automate tests with QA.
• Ensure module availability, scalability, and performance.
• Participate in system optimization and Agile ceremonies.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• 2–5 years’ experience in backend development with a PHP 5+ framework (CakePHP/Laravel/Yii/Phalcon).
• Strong MySQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience in Angular.js/React.js/Vue.js.
• Solid HTML5/CSS3 skills for responsive design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.

Desirable:

• Exposure to Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure.
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, NoSQL.
• Secondary languages like Python/Node.js.
• Experience with performance optimization.
