Software Development Engineer

Position Summary:

Backend Developer

Key Skills:

• Java / Spring Boot / Microservices / REST APIs
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Awareness of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with API development concept
• Exposure to development tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins (basic knowledge acceptable)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing backend systems using Java and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code under supervision.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members for seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews and learn industry-standard coding practices.
• Contribute to unit and integration testing
• Gain exposure to Agile practices through team activities and planning sessions.
• Help in documenting code, APIs, and development processes
• Continuously improve coding skills and learn backend architectural patterns
  

Must Have Skills:

• Strong foundation in Java programming
• Understanding of databases (MySQL or similar)
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork
