Software Development Engineer - Backend

As a Software Development Engineer - Backend at Fancall Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient, and reusable code with JavaScript, managing complex database structures using PostgreSQL, and implementing real-time communication features using Socket.IO. Additionally, you will optimize application performance and caching mechanisms with Redis, work with messaging queues using RabbitMQ, and develop and integrate APIs using GraphQL and REST. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and deployment of applications on AWS infrastructure will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure high code quality and follow best practices. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in backend development with Node.js. - Proficient in JavaScript with an in-depth understanding of core concepts. - Extensive experience in database management and optimization with PostgreSQL. - Proficiency in real-time communication and event-based programming with Socket.IO. - Good understanding of caching mechanisms with Redis. - Hands-on experience with cloud services and application deployment on AWS. - Solid understanding and experience in API development with GraphQL. - Familiarity with message queues for distributed systems using RabbitMQ. - Basic experience with query building and ORM integration with Knex.js. - General knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
