Software Development Engineer - Backend

• Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Handle incoming bug tickets, provides timely updates and assists with QA for bug fixes
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps to understand project goals, clarify technical requirements, and ensure smooth deployment and operations of applications.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency across the team. Learn from feedback and also provide constructive input to others.
• Continuously explore new tools, frameworks, and programming techniques. Take initiative to learn and apply modern development practices and technologies relevant to the tech stack.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6m+ of experience in software development - as an intern or in a full time role
• Proficiency in

  Java

  programming language
• Understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to Python programming language
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Basic familiarity with Docker or K8s
