Job Title: Software Developer (Algorithm) C++ / Python / Qt / MATLAB Location: Pune Experience Required: 8-10 Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Software Developer (Algorithm) with strong expertise in C++, Python, Qt, and working knowledge of MATLAB and Unix environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering mission-critical products and hands-on experience in algorithm development, preferably with exposure to medical devices and modern software practices. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize advanced software algorithms in C++ and Python. Build intuitive and high-performance user interfaces using Qt. Work with MATLAB for scientific computing and data analysis. Operate in Unix-based environments for development, testing, and deployment. Ensure product quality and patient safety by following Boston Scientifics quality standards and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, hardware, and software groups. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration. Document algorithm designs, coding standards, and test protocols. Required Skills and Experience: BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. 8-10 years of experience in software development with strong algorithm development background. Proven track record in delivering mission-critical products. Expertise in C++, with proficiency in Python or MATLAB. Strong experience with Qt framework. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems. Preferred Experience: Medical device domain experience. Experience in responsive web app development. Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing best practices.
