Position/Job Title : Defect Manager

Role overview:

The Defect Manager will be responsible for end-to-end defect governance across the automotive software development lifecycle. This includes tracking, prioritizing, and driving closure of defects, ensuring product quality and timely release.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering with Computer Science, or related field specialization

Skills & Competencies:

10 Years of experience in Project Management in Automotive Software Domain
Strong Communication, Co-ordination, Risk & Customer Management skills
Awareness of Automotive ASPICE
Experience in any Project Management Tools like, Confluence, Jira Devstack, PowerBI, Doors, Codebeamer, release42, Function42 etc)

Error / Defect Management:

Experience in Handling Bugs reported. Co-ordination with stakeholders for Bug correction, Driving resolution meetings, Bug reporting (Dashboard / KPI), Maintaining of Bug documentation and Project handbook
